Download Résumé

Heyo, I am Arnav a pre final year CSE student who is often found reinventing the wheel. I have dabbled in Distributed Systems and Systems primarily in Golang, Rust and Haskell. Currently geeking out on GIS Systems. Additoinally, I enjoy doing random Photoshops and SimRacing.

Experience

  1. Backend Developer (Part-time) — Trinayan Mar 2026 – May 2026
    • Built a client automation system with custom PDF generation, using gRPC services in Go and Python.
    • Delivered a deployed, production-ready tool over a two-month paid engagement.
  2. Backend Engineering Intern — India Today Group Aug 2025 – Nov 2025
    • Built an NLP-powered domain chatbot for one of India's largest news platforms, achieving >97% accuracy over a 1,000+ Q&A corpus.
    • Applied text processing and retrieval pipelines to dramatically improve context relevance across dynamic news content.
  3. Backend Intern (Go) — Ayurvruj Mar 2025 – Jul 2025
    • Architected the backend from scratch using Go — designed concurrent service layers, REST and gRPC APIs, and real-time WebSocket connections.
    • Enforced clean architecture patterns and separation of concerns across the codebase, enabling rapid feature iteration.
  4. Technical Coordinator — OSDC, JIIT Jul 2024 – Present
    • Core organiser of OSDHack, a nationwide hackathon with 300+ participants across India.
    • Ran Git/GitHub and Linux workshops reaching 100+ students; mentored teams on open-source contribution workflows.
    • Led development of multiple FOSS projects: Pokearcadia, Resrap, and OSDTyp.

Projects

  2. Gaslit A Go framework that stress-tests AI agents via supervised courtroom debate, detecting drift and hallucination through confidence/consistency diagnostics
  3. Dumber Bono A real-time F1 2025 telemetry ingestion pipeline and in-cab radio assistant, with UDP parsing, a driver pressure model, and LLM/TTS-powered race radio
  4. Tyche A high volume distributed function scheduling and running pipeline built with Go and Java
  5. OSDType A Monkeytype for developers with real-time games, ranks, matchmaking, and clubs in Go, powered by Resrap
  6. Resrap / ResrapRS An algorithmic code generator using ABNF with a custom BNF generator, documented as a library in both Go and Rust
  7. Gitfindr Hybrid BM25 + semantic search for discovering GitHub repos from READMEs, implemented in Python
  8. Trinayan A deployed client automation application with gRPC in Go and Python with custom PDF generation
  9. Solunox A Turing-complete esoteric interpreted language in C++ with three polymorphic containers (stack, queue, or heap), supporting conditionals, functions, and loops
  10. Shatranj A chess GUI and engine in C++, inspired by the original Shatranj for single-player
  11. Pokearcadia A canvas-based arcade game built for an open source event
  12. ElectionBot A domain-accurate bot for the Bihar elections built for India Today Group, with natural language SQL generation over a live database
  13. Heapster A custom malloc implementation in C focused on space efficiency
  14. ChessFastAF A WASM-powered two-player chess implementation for testing Rust in the browser
